India: TWAS-DBT Postgraduate Fellowship (2023)

Apply for the TWAS-DBT Postgraduate Fellowship Program 2023. UNESCO-TWAS have collaborated with the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) of the Ministry of Science and Technology, India, to offer a fully-funded fellowship program to help international students from developing countries that have plans to pursue PhD in biotechnology.

During the fellowship, DBT will give a monthly stipend for health insurance, living expenses, and food. Also, a house rent allowance will be provided. Apply for the fellowship in India today!

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must have a master’s degree or its equivalent.
• Fellows must not possess visas for permanent or temporary residency in India or any developed country.
• Candidates must enroll in any university in their home country at the time of applying.
• Applicants must be from a developing country other than India.
• Applicants should be 35 years or younger on 31 December, 2022.
• Candidates must be willing to enroll in an Indian university for FULL-TIME Fellowships.
• Applicants must provide a research proposal outline.
• Fellows must be accepted at an Indian biotechnology institute.
• Applicant must provide an English proficiency certificate in case English was not the medium of education.
• Students will be financially responsible for any accompanying family members.

• For SANDWICH Fellowships, funding might be provided for 12 months to 2 years.
